Booth D706 Showcases Next-Gen Physical Layer Connectivity and Management
SOMERSET, N.J., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Go!Foton, a global leader in fiber optic connectivity solutions, will showcase its latest fiber connectivity innovations designed to help network operators simplify deployment, maximize valuable rack space and gain greater visibility into the physical fiber layer. At Booth D706, SCTE TechExpo attendees can explore solutions spanning high-density fiber management, outside plant connectivity and intelligent optical network monitoring, all built around Go!Foton’s approach to solving the practical challenges of today’s converging networks.
New Patch Panel Delivers 50% More Fiber Density
Among the featured technologies will be the next-generation PEACOC® 360‑144 Spooling Patch Panel, which increases fiber density from 96 to 144 fibers per rack unit while expanding onboard fiber capacity to six integrated 100 ‑ foot fiber spools. This new solution provides 50% more fiber density within the same rack ‑ unit footprint of an already industry ‑ leading platform. Like the original PEACOC 360, the new PEACOC 360 ‑ 144 is designed to make fiber deployment faster, cleaner, and easier to manage, while maximizing the value of critical rack space.
Knocking-out Network Blind Spots and Providing Precision Performance Data
Go!Foton will also demonstrate enhancements to its EKO® optical sensing platform, providing attendees with a live look at how greater visibility into the physical fiber layer can help network operators identify and address problems faster. EKO combines optical sensing with advanced monitoring capabilities to detect changes and disturbances within the fiber infrastructure. New enhancements incorporate OTDR functionality with the multiport optical switch, enabling the platform to precisely pinpoint the location of network degradation or failure. By combining continuous optical monitoring with precise fault-location capabilities, EKO can help operators move beyond simply knowing that a problem exists to understanding where it is occurring, enabling faster fault resolution, helping prioritize service for proactive maintenance, and ultimately ensuring network uptime and user satisfaction.
“Our customers are being asked to do more with their network infrastructure—more fiber, more capacity and more visibility, often without more rack space or additional resources,” said Timothy Badar, VP of product line management at Go!Foton. “We’re addressing those challenges from two complementary directions: the next-generation PEACOC 360-144 gives operators significantly more fiber capacity in the same footprint, while enhanced EKO sensing provides the intelligence to see and locate problems within the physical fiber layer. It’s about making networks not only denser, but smarter and easier to manage”.
Together, these technologies demonstrate Go!Foton’s commitment to developing fiber connectivity solutions that combine higher density, greater deployment flexibility and smarter visibility to help networks evolve and scale.
